Two record release events are scheduled for Tilford Sellers’ records, “Another Day With You” and “Switchyard South Sessions.”  There will be live music performed by Tilford’s bandmates and friends at both of the following events.

Thursday, July 18, 2019 - Columbus Bar, 322 Fourth Street, Columbus, IN

Saturday, August 24, 2019 - Duke’s Indy, 2352 S. West Street, Indianapolis, IN

“Another Day With You” will be available for purchase at these events on colored vinyl, black vinyl, and CD.

“Switchyard South Sessions” will be available for purchase on CD.

All proceeds from record sales will go to Patrick’s Memorial Music Fund administered by the Heritage Fund of Bartholomew County, Indiana. Tilford Sellers (Patrick Bowman) began recording “Another Day With You” in November 2017. The record was only partially completed when he was killed in a car crash, caused by an impaired driver, on January 27, 2018.

He was 35 years old and had just been named a Nominee for the 2018 Ameripolitan Awards for Best Honky–Tonk Male. On the day before the wreck, he recorded vocals–just one take for each song.

In the weeks and months that followed, Tilford’s bandmates rallied to finish the record, spending countless hours and carefully curating parts using his guitar, pedal board, and amplifier. They also followed the handwritten notes he left behind to guide the arrangements and instrument selection. On the record, you will hear Tilford playing acoustic guitar on all the tracks and if you listen closely, you might be able to hear the pearl snap buttons of his sleeve occasionally hitting the guitar.

In addition to the full band version, a second CD will also be available called “Switchyard South Sessions.” It is a collection of demo recordings that began during the early sessions of “Another Day With You.”  Stay tuned for release date and additional details.

Today, on Tilford’s (Patrick’s) birthday, the vinyl order was placed for “Another Day With You.”  Tilford recorded vocals for this album the day before he was killed. His bandmates rallied to complete the record. Thank you to Ryan Payton who spent countless hours bringing Tilford’s vision for this record to life. The record will be available on colored vinyl, black vinyl, CD, and digital download. Tilford sellers has been nominated for an ameripolitan award!

Nominated Honky Tonk Male, Tilford could not be more honored for this nomination. Tilford would like to thank everyone who nominated him along with Dale Watson and the rest of the Ameripolitan crew!
